Since then she has recorded numerous studio albums, three of which topped the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just fell short of the top spot. She was among America's top performers. The singer began to play around with music and themes after her fame was growing. Her uniqueness and vocal abilities earned her critical praise along with a host of important award. Notably, she's been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. She also has been featured in film and television. She also wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with various charitable organizations.
