Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has been an Cuban as well as an American TV arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. Ana Polo Gonzalez was born and raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami when she was two. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of the well-known Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish programming to be nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award, and was ranked in 2015 as the top Spanish-language show in the 4pm hour across all key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. When she graduated from Florida International University's political science program, she relocated to Havana and lived there for the next 20 years. Then she earned an PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and worked for 20 decades in Miami. From there she earned the PhD in law at the University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in the city of Miami. Polo was first shown to the public via television in 2001 on Telemundo's program Sala de Parejas (2001) and other shows on courts where her legal expertise was tapped. Literature Accolades and Literary works In 1958, Polo wrote her first book Los Hijos Muertos. It received the Critic's Prize for Literature and the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain, 1960. Polo, a breast cancer survivor who often raises funds for this charity and also speaks at various events. Polo has been an active advocate of LGBT rights for the bulk of her professional career. She earned her degree from her University of Miami School of Law in 1987 and is an active member of the Florida Bar.
