Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10, 1980) who is professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was formerly an actress and model. She played the role of Carmen on The L Word, Kate Reed on USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw on CBS Crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). Also, she has been in the role of in the role of Det. Dani Reese is a character in the show Life[3] as well as Alias. She starred in Reverie which was a series that premiered in 2018. In 2019, she appeared as a regular character in City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and appeared in seven episodes of The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the production of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to relocate to Hollywood which is where she landed roles in several series which included Alias Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. In 2005, she took on the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as a supporting character on The L Word. She joined it in its second season. Shahi's contract for two years was not renewed after the conclusion of the fourth season. Shahi was sacked.
